TERN Rewards – Terms and Conditions

Welcome to TERN Rewards, a premier rewards program designed to enhance your lifestyle in the United Arab Emirates. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in the TERN Rewards program. By enrolling in or using the TERN Rewards program, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. 1. Eligibility

1.1 General Eligibility:

Participation in the TERN Rewards program is open to individuals who are residents of the United Arab Emirates, are at least 18 years of age, have an active tenancy contract and possess a valid UAE ID.

1.2 Business Accounts:

TERN Rewards is available for personal accounts only. Business accounts or commercial use of the program is not permitted.

2. Membership Enrollment

2.1 Application Process:

Membership can be obtained by completing the online registration form on the TERN website or app and agreeing to these Terms after uploading an active tenancy agreement.

2.2 Verification:

TERN reserves the right to verify the accuracy of your provided information. Inaccurate or incomplete information may result in account suspension or termination.

2.3 Account Security:

Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activities conducted under their account.

3. Earning Points

3.1 Eligible Transactions:

Points are earned on qualifying transactions such as rent payments, retail purchases, dining, travel, and other categories as defined by TERN.

3.2 Earning Rates:

The points earning rate may vary based on the type of transaction and participating merchants. TERN reserves the right to modify earning rates at its discretion.

3.3 Restrictions:

Certain transactions, such as cash advances or fees, may be excluded from earning points.

4. Redeeming Points

4.1 Redemption Options:

Points can be redeemed for rewards including but not limited to travel, merchandise, gift cards, and statement credits. Availability of rewards is subject to change and may vary based on point levels.

4.2 Redemption Process:

Points must be redeemed through the TERN website or app. The redemption process is subject to availability and may require compliance with additional terms.

4.3 Minimum Redemption:

A minimum number of points may be required for certain redemption options. Specifics will be outlined on the TERN platform.

4.4 Expiration:

Points may expire if not used within a specified period. Expiration details will be communicated through your account notifications.

5. Fees and Charges

5.1 Transaction Fees:

TERN does not charge fees for earning or redeeming points, except as outlined for specific redemption options or services.

5.2 Late Payment Fees:

If applicable, late payment fees for rent or other services will be disclosed and must be paid in accordance with the service provider’s terms and as per the tenancy agreement.

5.3 Program Fees:

Any applicable fees related to membership or account maintenance will be clearly stated and communicated to members.

6. Account Management

6.1 Account Information:

Members must keep their account information current and accurate. TERN is not liable for any issues arising from outdated or incorrect information.

6.2 Reporting Issues:

Members should promptly report any unauthorized transactions or account discrepancies to TERN customer support.

6.3 Account Suspension:

TERN reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts due to violations of these Terms, suspected fraud, or other reasons deemed appropriate.

7. Program Changes and Termination

7.1 Modifications:

TERN reserves the right to modify or discontinue the program, including these Terms, at any time. Changes will be communicated through the TERN platform or via email.

7.2 Termination:

TERN may terminate a member’s participation in the program for breach of these Terms or other reasons as deemed necessary.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

8.1 Data Collection:

8.2 Data Sharing:

Personal data may be shared with third-party partners for the purpose of administering the program and providing rewards.
